David Chisholm is Operating Partner at C4 Ventures. He focuses on Go-to-Market in Emerging Markets, leveraging his global experience to support portfolio companies in scaling internationally and building strategic partnerships.
David is a Canadian and British technology executive, currently based in London. David’s 25-year career in technology spans an 18-year tenure at Apple, as well as Research in Motion and new media and telecom start-ups.
At Apple, David led the first phase of its Telecom business in the UK and Ireland, from the iPhone’s launch in 2007 to its market leadership in 2013. He then moved to Dubai, where he developed Apple’s emerging business in the Middle East from 2013-2024. His region expanded to include Africa in 2017.
In addition to his work with C4, David is an Advisor at Pitch 15, a fund dedicated to women’s sport, and he is a Trustee at the African Gifted Foundation, a UK/Ghana-based education charity.
David was awarded an MBA from the London Business School in 2000 and returned there for the Senior Executive Programme in 2024. David also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada, and the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. David is married with four daughters.
