What they do
Zoov is the first mobility company to offer a sustainable, data-driven and scalable e-bike sharing solution.
Zoov’s electric bikes can be booked at any time of the day and guide you by GPS to destination thanks to a fully integrated application and data platform. Their docking stations are compact and easy to install, and thus integrate seamlessly into dense European towns. The service guarantees a respectful approach to sharing public roads thanks to light, ultra-compact stations in the densest areas, requiring neither public investment nor civil engineering.
Zoov was founded in France in 2017 by Eric Carreel, serial entrepreneur and co-founder at Withings and Invoxia, Arnaud Le Rodallec and Amira Haberah.
How we met
Alexandre Rossoz and Michel Sassano first met Arnaud le Rodallec at France Digitale Day in September 2018. Due to the speed-dating format of such event, they had only 10 minutes to discuss with Arnaud but it was just enough to spark their curiosity and interest. A few weeks later, Eric, Arnaud and Amira came to our office by bike and all of the C4 Ventures team in Paris took a ride around the block. Alexandre and Amira actually found out that they were both big fans of the Paris’ football team PSG and had gone to the same football games for years.
